Hillcrest Amazing Race

Event Update: Over 40 Hillcrest families participated in the Hillcrest Amazing Race with 27 families completing all 20 missions. The raffle winners were announced in the Weekly Howl on Tuesday, February 1 and contacted directly with prize pickup instructions.

The Hillcrest Amazing Race is back! We had over 50 families register to participate in this family-friendly event last spring. Don’t miss out on the Winter Edition of the Hillcrest Amazing Race!

Who: Teams of 3-6 players. Hillcrest Amazing Race is open to Hillcrest family members of all ages! Families will complete a set of missions together.

What: Download the GooseChase app and complete the assigned missions anytime between Friday, January 28 at 3pm to Sunday, January 30 at 10pm. As you complete a mission, track your progress in the GooseChase app. Teams can do all missions at one time or a few missions at a time when convenient. All missions must be completed by Sunday, January 30 at 10pm.

How: Missions and instructions will be in the GooseChase app. Missions will be physical challenges, checking-in at a local DG locations or solving a puzzle or riddle. Teams may be asked to submit a photo or video via the GooseChase app to complete missions. All missions will be family-friendly, COVID-safe and fun!

Why: Each team who completes all of the missions in the Hillcrest Amazing Race by Sunday, January 30 at 10pm will be entered into a raffle for amazing prizes. Raffle prizes include basketball hoop, hoverboard, snowboards, $100 Downtown Downers Grove gift card, $50 Giuliano’s gift card and much more!
