Hillcrest Hound Dog Dash

The Hound Dog Dash is a fun run around the Hillcrest neighborhood that culminates with a celebration on the playground with pizza & ice cream as well as a DJ, face painting & a bubble show. The 2022 event had over 400 registered participants and raised over $10,000 to help support field trips and in-class experiences for students in the 2022-23 school year. Registration & Awards – $20 per registrant, runners and walkers welcome. Register by April 28th in order to receive the official race t-shirt. Participants can choose to do either a 1-mile or 3-mile run or walk around the Hillcrest neighborhood. This is an official timed race and there will be a male and a female medal winner announced by grade level for the 1-mile and 3-mile race routes (including Pre-K and under, 7th-8th grade, 9th-12th grade as well as 18+ age groups).

Fundraising – we are hoping to make this event our biggest fundraiser of this school year! New for 2022, family, friends & neighbors can sponsor runners with donations via the registration website. Each participant can easily set up a fundraising page to share after completing registration (instructions are on the registration page). All donations help fund the Hillcrest PTA programs that benefit our families, students, faculty and staff.
